What this device is for.
Most of a fuel site's transactions happen outdoors with nobody standing next to them. A pay-at-pump terminal is the hardware that takes those: chip, contactless and mobile wallets at the dispenser, unattended, in the weather, at two in the morning. It is the part of a forecourt setup that has to keep working when nothing else on site is staffed.
The point of running it through Highline is what happens after the authorization. The forecourt and the store sit on one merchant account, so the pumps, the registers, the wash bay and anything taken in an app close into a single shift report and a single deposit trail — rather than two sets of numbers that have to be reconciled against each other before anyone can go home.
What can actually be fitted depends on your dispensers and your site controller, and that is reviewed before anything is proposed.
What it does, straight.
- Outdoor EMV at the dispenser Chip, contactless and NFC mobile wallets taken at the pump, without anyone from the site involved.
- Built to be unattended Equipment for the forecourt has to hold up in weather and keep running outside staffed hours.
- One shift report, forecourt and store Pumps, registers, the wash bay and in-app sales close into the same report rather than two.
- One merchant account behind all of it The same deposit trail and the same reporting as the terminals inside the building.
- Reviewed against your site Your dispensers and site controller are checked before any hardware is recommended.
The rooms this one is usually chosen for.
-
Fuel sites and truck stops
Where most of the volume is taken outdoors and unattended, and the site is judged on uptime.
-
Forecourt and c-store together
A site running fuel, a convenience store and often a wash bay, closing one shift rather than three.

Not sure this is the one?
Say what the room is and what happens around the payment. That narrows it to two options faster than a specification sheet does.
