Clover Mini 3
Overview

What this device is for.

Mini 3 is the smallest device on this list that is genuinely a point of sale rather than a payment terminal. It takes swipe, chip and contactless out of the box, prints its own receipts, and runs the same Clover software the larger stations do — inventory, reporting, staff and the rest.

It suits a counter that is short of space but not short of requirements: somewhere that needs more than an authorization, and has room for one device rather than three.

Built for

The rooms this one is usually chosen for.

  • Small retail counters

Where the till has to do inventory and reporting as well as payment.

  • Cafés and counter service

A single device for the order, the payment and the receipt.

  • Salons and appointment businesses

Front-desk checkout with staff logins and reporting.

Not sure this is the one?

Say what the room is and what happens around the payment. That narrows it to two options faster than a specification sheet does.
