Clover Compact
Overview

What this device is for.

Compact is a countertop payment terminal rather than a point of sale: it takes the payment, prints the receipt and gets out of the way. It keeps physical, backlit PIN keys with raised markings and a privacy shield, which is what a lot of counters actually want — and what a touchscreen-only device cannot offer.

Two of them can be tethered together so one faces the merchant and one faces the customer, and it mounts to the counter through a threaded attachment with a security lock slot.

Built for

The rooms this one is usually chosen for.

  • Counters that want real keys

Where staff and customers prefer a physical keypad to a glass one.

  • Merchant and customer facing pairs

Two Compacts tethered together, one facing each way.

  • Fixed till positions

Mounted to the counter, wired, and not going anywhere.

Not sure this is the one?

Say what the room is and what happens around the payment. That narrows it to two options faster than a specification sheet does.
